WE NEED YOUR HELP...

Gold Country Community Services currently receives State and Federal funding to provide meals for 105 homebound seniors per day. In the past, local funding has allowed us to serve between 140 – 150 seniors; unfortunately donations have declined, costs have risen, and for the first time ever we are putting eligible seniors on a waiting list to receive our support.

As of Friday, June 15th, there were 38 seniors on our waiting list. Media attention to this matter brought in enough support to enroll 6 of the waiting seniors. A generous donation from California Organics is helping us feed the others for two of the ten days remaining in this fiscal year. 

Your donation will help us ensure that all eligible seniors receive the support they need.
